We work by appointment only because you deserve our undivided attention! We accommodate most every schedule including weekend and evening appointments, simply inquire.
Where to begin? Our process is simple:
Phone Interview: The truth is, you need to feel comfortable and connected with whomever you hire for your project. We recommend a brief phone interview. If you feel comfortable, the next meeting will be to review the project together.
Consultation: We ask a lot of questions and we listen intently. We encourage you to dream big, bring your wish list and be prepared to tell us what you love and do not love about your kitchen or bath. For remodeling projects, our initial in-home consultation is complimentary within 15 miles of Traverse City. For a new home build, you may bring your blueprints to our studio during our meeting.
Master Plan: After we have reviewed your project, we prepare a design service agreement that details our scope of service and associated fees. Upon your signature of approval, we collect a retainer deposit and the work begins! A specified portion of the retainer collected will be applied directly to your purchase through @ Home Cabinetry + Interiors.
Spending Plan: Everyone has a budget or an idea of what they wish to invest into a project. It is critical information needed to begin design work. As a professional designer, I guide you in the proper distribution of your funds. Recommendations are made by considering function, style, and affordability. There are many creative avenues to create a similar “look” while maintaining the needed function. It would be silly and a waste of time to present a solution that didn’t fit into the spending plan. A budget is required to begin work. We can help you establish a spending plan if you need assistance!
